Ummmmm

Do you think it is possible to write a binomial with a degree of 0? Why or why not?

  1. Ummmmm. yes because if you make the binomial out of constants (which always have a degree of 0) then the binomial will have a degree of 0. -Jesse

  2. yes u can because if the binomial is consisted of two constants, the highest degree is zero.

  4. Yep you can have a binomial with a degree of 0 because if there isn't a variable on either term the degree is 0. For example (7 + 9) no variables degree is 0 Alex G

  5. It is possible to write a binomial with a degree of 0. You just have to use constants in your binomial.

  6. I choose that it is possible to write a binomial with a degree of zero. While at the same time, sometimes u can't write a binomial. First off binomials are polynomials with two terms. It is made up of 2 monomials.

Why its possible to write a binomial with a degree of zero? You could write the binomial but only when there isnt any variable. For example what Alex said 7+9. Monomials could be just numbers, even fractions. The degrees of both numbers is 0. Both numbers are constant due to the degree of zero. THe numbers are nonzero constant. you make a binomial out of constants.

Why its not possible to write binomials. Sometimes, may be all the time, binomials have a variable. For example is 7x + 4. when its like this the exponents are 1 and 0. 4 is constant while 7x has a degree of 1. Another thing to consider is when both monomials of the binomial has a variable. Ex is 9x^4 + 11x. The exponents are 4 and 1. Neither has a degree of zero. Mark Soriano

  7. i say that it is not possible to have a binomial with a degree of 0 b/c that is just a normal eqation such as 6+6 nick d.

  8. I agree with Nick D. that You can't have a binomial with a degree of 0. I think it makes it a normal equation.

  9. I dont think you can have a binomial with the degree of 0 because, as nick d so elequently stated , you would then just have a normal equation. You can only have a degree of 0 with a monomial (i think).

  10. like delbene said u cant have the binomial with 0 degree so like u wold just have a regular equation. only momonomial wguations can have a 0 degree hence (monO) because if say a trinomial had 0 degree it would become uqual to 1 negron
