So, what do you know about polynomials,

    There are three different types of polynomials. They are monomials, binomials, and trinomials. Monomials are algebraic expressions consisting of only one term. Another thing is that it is an expression with one term. However, the term cannot have a variable in its denominator. Binomials are polynomials with two terms. Trinomials are algebraic expressions consisting of three terms connected by plus or minus signs.

    Polynomials are used in everyday life. Finance uses them. It involves polynomials that back interest accumulation out of future liquid transactions, with the aim of finding an equivalent liquid (present, cash, or in-hand) value. Fortunately, numerous payments can be rewritten in a simple form, if the payment schedule is regular. Tax and economic calculations can usually be written as polynomials as well. Electronics uses them too. The definition of resistance, V=IR, is a polynomial relating the resistance from a resistor to the current through it and the potential drop across it. Other polynomials in electronics include the relation of power loss to resistance and voltage drop: P=IV=IR^2. Kirchhoff's junction rule (describing current at junctions) and Kirchhoff's loop rule (describing voltage drop around a closed circuit) are also polynomials. It is also used in curve fitting. Polynomials are fit to data points in both regression and interpolation. In regression, a large number of data points is fit with a function, usually a line: y=mx+b. Chemistry uses polynomials uses them too.
    Gas equations relating diagnostic parameters can usually be written as polynomials, such as the ideal gas law: PV=nRT (where n is mole count and R is a proportionality constant).

  2. Polynomials are sums of variables and exponents expressions. Each piece of the polynomial and each part that is being added, is called a term. Polynomial terms have variables which are raised to whole-number exponents. There are no square roots of variables and no variables in the denominator of any fractions. There are no negative exponents. Any term that does not have a variable is called a constant because it always remains the same.

  5. Polynomials are three or more terms made up of variables. They can be used in any of the four operations depending on the sign. But more importantly they must do the mathematical operation under the correct terms. MAking sure you multiply the first term with the first term to both of the polynomials. An example of a polynomial is (7x - 11x^2 + 12) Alex Goncalves

  7. PolyGNOMEials are 2 or more termed expressions. A term is a multiplication expression, such as 3x. a 2 termed expression is specifically a binomial, a 1 termed expression a monomial. a 3 termed expression is a trinomial. -Jesse
